Christopher was the son of Christopher Sr and Sarah Venable Kanatzar. He married 1st Amanda Malvina Ham on November 26, 1840 in Madison Co, KY. From this union were born nine known children: Columbus G, Eliza, William Christopher, Mary E, Lucinda Willis, Thomas C, Amanda Frances "Fannie" Dunsmore, Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Willis and Isom Fox. He married 2nd Sarah Catherine Jump on June 9, 1877 in Owen Co, KY. From this union were born two known children: Belle and James Allen. A third child may have been adopted: Joseph.
