John Joseph 'Johnny' Coyle
Jan. 14, 1925 – March 16, 2014

John Joseph "Johnny" Coyle, 89, Bedford, Texas, formerly of Bellwood, went to be with the Lord Sunday.

He was born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children born to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Casey) Coyle. He married Jean Marjorie Luse on Dec. 29, 1946, and they had two daughters, Andrea and Molly.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years; a daughter, Molly of Euless, Texas; and a granddaughter, Danielle Jurinsky of Aurora, Colo.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Deloris Hulbert and Mary Elliot; a brother, Joseph; and a daughter, Andrea.

Johnny was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School and attended The University of Texas at El Paso and The University of Maryland. After receiving his degree as a journeyman printer, he and Jean settled in Bellwood. The Army recalled him for the Korean War, and he retired after his tour of duty in Vietnam, serving for 25 years.

Johnny was a licensed ham radio operator, an artist and an amateur silversmith, and he enjoyed music and dancing.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 19, 2014, at Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home, 1820 N. Beltline Road, Irving, Texas, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, followed by a graveside service at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
