Announcement was made from the Lutheran Deaconess hospital in Beaver Dam Sunday morning, October 20, of the death of Farnk H. Parpart, 79, a former well known resident of Juneau, lately living with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Braun, Minnesota Junction. He had been a patient at the hospital since last Thursday.
The funeral on Wednesday afternoon was held from the Briese & Heilmann funeral home in Beaver Dam to St. John's Lutheran church, Juneau, where services at 2:00 o'clock were conducted by Rev. M. J. NMommensen. Interment was made at Zion Lutheran cemetery, in Clyman.
A native of Germany and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Danial Parpart, Frank H. Parpart was born February 24, 1867, and on October 5, 1888, was married to Ulrike Zarling. Three years later, in 1891, Mr. and Mrs. Parpart came to the United States, locating in Dodge County, Wisconsin, and ere residents of Clyman village prior to coming to Juneau. Mrs. Parpart's death occurred here on February 2, 1914.
As a resident of Juneau, Mr. Parpart had the most agreeable of relations with his neighbors, who held him in hjigh esteem as a man of industrious habits, unquestioned integrity and good citizenship. News of his death was received with regret by local friends.
Mr. Parpart is survived by five sons and four daughters, namely, Emil Parpart of Richwood, Paul Parpart of Antelope, Mont., Erich Parpart of Columbus, Herman Parpart of Watertown, Frank H. Parpart Jr., of Waupun, Mrs. John Miske of Watertown, Mrs. William Erdman of Sherwood, Wis., Mrs. Jack Peplinski of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Clarence Braun of Minnesota Junction. Of the large family four daughter preceded their father in death. There are fifty-four grand children and fourteen great-grandchildren. One brother, August Parpart, and one sister, Mrs. Albnert Otto, also survive. Both are residents of Kennan, Wis.
