Jeffrey Miles Williams, age 49, tragically lost his life in an airplane crash in Lexington, Kentucky(Comair 5191), on August 27, 2006. A native of Centerville, Ohio, Jeffrey attended Culver Military Academy and was a member of the Black Horse Troop prior to graduating from The Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio. He attended the University of Arizona and received his degree in Animal Sciences. Upon graduation, he obtained his Thoroughbred Trainers License with the State of Ohio in 1979 followed by licenses in Kentucky and Indiana. Beginning at the young age of 23, Jeffrey won hundreds of races during his 26 year career, including numerous stakes races. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph M. Williams and his grandmother Anne-Marie Pecasse. He is survived by his mother, Andree Williams; his grandfather, William (Willy) Pecasse; his brother, Kimpton E. Williams (Lori) of Waynesville, Ohio; and his sisters, Linda Felker (Chris) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and Melissa Moss (Philip) of Hayden Lake, Idaho. Jeffrey will also be forever remembered by his nephews, Jared and Tyler Williams; nephew, Ezra Felker; and niece, Hillary Felker; and longtime companion, Betsi McCullough
