Birth: He was the son of Percy R. Skinner (1897-1950) and Lulu DeGroat (1901-?).
Military: He was a Second Lieutenant in Company A in the 503rd Parachute Infantry. He was killed in action at Corregidor in the Philippines. Corregidor is a small rocky island in the Philippines about 48 kilometers west of Manila which is located at the entrance of Manila Bay.
