Charity Beeson was a noted Quaker minister who helped found the Hopewell Meeting in Martinsburg, Virginia and the Deep Creek Meeting in Guilford County, North Carolina. She was married to Richard Beeson and was the daughter of John Grubb. Records of Centre Meeting indicate both Charity and Richard are buried here.
