Baby Boy Peterson is the son of James Dale and Waneta Loy Frisk Peterson.
Baby was born 9 weeks early, after a complicated delivery he was stillborn. We were so full of grief at the time we did not name him until much later, after stone was placed. Naming him Rodney Franklin Peterson, but he will always be "Baby".
I have corrected the birth and death dates on here, that is why the date on the stones are different. When he and his brother ( James A. Peterson) stones were later made, they made an error and put a date close to that of their burials. No longer living in the area, didn't discover it until to late to have fixed.
At the time of his death he was survived by his parents Jim & Loy Peterson, a brother William Joe and sister Cheryl Lynn Peterson of the home and sisters Josephine Marie and Monica Ann Peterson of Woodland, California, his Grandparents Ray Edward and Verna Mae Barker Frisk and his Grandmother Phyllis Alida Young Peterson, Uncles Robert Allen Peterson -wife Connie, James Ray Frisk-wife Charlotte, John Franklin Frisk-wife Char, Aunts Elizabeth Nadine (Betty) Peterson and Dawna Lynn Frisk Rape-husband Douglas. His Great Grandfather's Hugh Gordon Young and Alvin J. Frisk, many Grand Uncles, Grand Aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Robert E. Peterson and Uncle Billy L. Peterson; Great Grandmother's W.Grace Hendry Young, M. Kathryn Westfall Peterson, Mary Ellen Caudle Frisk and Laura Ella McGahey Barker , Great Grandfather's August E. Peterson and Richard Polk Barker.
One of the things that helped us at the time was this poem.
Do not stand at my gave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.
(Our second son - 3rd child)
