Married Ida Blaney (nee Blakely) on 22 Mar 1905 in Chicago at Asbury M.E. Church. Ida was born about 1871 in New York. She had previously married Charles J. Blaney (born about 1868) on 23 May 1891 in Cook Co., IL (marriage performed by a Catholic priest). They had children Fred J. Blaney (born 1894) and Leona M. Blaney (born about 1897).
George & Ida had 3 more children, Georgia (22 Jan 1907 Chicago-6 Mar 1910, Chicago, buried Aurora), Earl S. (born 1909) and Ruth Maude Gray (17 Oct 1911-22 Jan 2007, Bonney Lake, WA). Note: Ruth's husband William Crean is buried in San Marcos, CA.
They were living in Aurora in 1910, and Chicago in 1920. (In 1920 niece Evelyn Springman, 18, born Wisconsin, was with them.)
