Leslie Kiser, 77, of 1007 W. First St., died Friday, July 30, 2004, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
He was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Neon, Ky., the son of Elzie and Mary Webb Kiser. He retired after working 32 years at Grote Industries as a tool and dye maker and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Little Brown Full Gospel Church in Sharps Chapel, Tenn.
Surviving are his wife, Lourissa Sexton; one daughter, Carolyn Ann Smith of Hanover; one son, Leslie Darrell Kiser of Nabb; eight sisters, Marie Sturgill of Pound, Va., Nannie Smith of Neon, Ky., Judy Miles and Elsie Kay of Whitesburg, Ky., Doris Ann Gibson of Hanover, Anna Huffington of Madison, and Alpha Cox and Ruby Bell of Fairborn, Ohio; one brother, Elzie Kiser Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel, with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Military graveside services will be performed by the American Legion, Jefferson Post 9.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
