Lula Esta Lark was born in Harrison county, MO March 22, 1905. She passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Budd Lark, 2 miles north of Bostwick, July 21, 1913. She was an invalid all of her natural life. She is now set free from all infirmities of the flesh, and has gone to be with Him who said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

The funeral was held at the Bostwick church, conducted by Rev. J. F. Greene of Nelson and Rev. W.P. Bancroft.

At rest we have laid our dear loved one.
Beneath the cold heavy sod,
To wait the bright resurrection,
By command of Omnipotent God.

Oh, dear Lula, how much we do miss you,
At morning, at noon, and at night,
When we think that you are not longer with us
Even time seems to stop in its flight.

The last night of watching is over,
The last word of love have been said
And safe on the bosom of Jesus
Our Darling has pillowed her head.
