Our beloved husband, father, and friend, Wayne W. Malmstrom, died May 17, 2011 at CareSource Hospice.

He was born December 15, 1927 in Midvale, Utah to Clifford J. and Ruth Jones Malmstrom. Married Claire Elane Ford in January 1952. They had four children, Laurie, Clarinda, Lynette, and David.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. A man of many trades with an impeccable work ethic, he retired from Meadow Gold Dairy to become a world class gardener. Dad could fix anything. He had a wry sense of humor, a love for animals and an undying loyalty to Claire.

He will be missed by his wife, children, sister, Delores (Jay); best friend, Faye Jensen; dear family and friends: Richard Sellers, LaDonna Moore, Charles Thomas, Patch McLean, Sylvia Lesser, Earl Ford, Roy, and Ann; grandchildren: Hollie, Jennifer, Ryan, Dan, Mylea, and Cami; eight great-grandchildren; and dog, Buddy. Preceded in death by parents; sisters: Norma, Lillian, Evelyn and Mildred; son-in-law, Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where a viewing will be held prior to the services from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
