Ida (nee Cicero) Arcadipane, age 79, of Lockport, died Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Hospice Buffalo, after a brief illness. Born March 11, 1925 in Groveland, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (nee Siragusa) Cicero and had been a resident of Tonawanda for the greater part of her life. She then lived in Florida for several years before moving to Lockport about eight years ago. She was the mother of the late Rev. Charles Arcadipane, Jr., grandmother of the late Andrew Arcadipane, and sister of the late Charles (Mary) Cicero.


She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Arcadipane; a son, Salvatore (Barbara) Arcadipane; a daughter, Michele (Michael) Snyder; a brother, John (Trish) Panzarella; and eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Joel (Sandy), Jesse, Luke (Laura), Timothy, Micah, and Gabrielle Arcadipane, Joshua and Chad (Krista) Helmer, and Bethany (James) Chase. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Bryana, Dylan, Aidan, and Starr; and may nieces and nephews.


Friends may call from 12 Noon - 3:30 PM Sunday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets in Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at White Chapel Cemetery in the Town of Amherst. If desired, memorials to Hospice Foundation, 225 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227, are preferred by the family.
