Leah May is my aunt, married to my Mom's brother, Dan. She was born to Golden Holt Farmer & Eleanor Kelsey Skinner. She had a twin brother, Leland Golden Farmer, and three sisters, Wanda, Nora, and Naomi. She was born in Utah. I don't know at what point in her life her family moved to Idaho, but that's where she was from.
She served an LDS mission to Butte, Montana where she met her future husband, Daniel Edwin Nash. His younger sister, Verla, gave rides to the sister missionaries. One day, he happened to be with her and was totally smitten with Leah May. They corresponded after her mission. They were married March 24, 1954 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS temple.
They had four children: Raymond, Carla, Nora, and Kaylene.
She and Uncle Dan took in both of their mothers when they could no longer care for themselves. They had both of them at the same time for a few years until they passed away.
Dan passed away in 1990. Leah May then served another mission, this time in the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
