Crookston -- Victor F. Amiot, 76, Crookston, died Wednesday Oct. 13, 1993, at home.
Victor F. Amiot, was born Feb. 23, 1917, the son of Adrian and Josephine (Vaudrin) Amiot, in Red Lake Falls County, Minnesota. He attended rural schools and worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps. he lived in Crookston where he worked at Sanitary Dairy, St. Joseph's Academy and the University of Minnesota plant services department until retiring in 1982. He married Adele Fournier November 25, 1941, in Argyle, Minnesota. He worked for his son at Ye Old Print Shoppe, Crookston, until July.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Bernard, Watkinsville, GA, Allen, Bloomington, Minnesota, and Edward, Crookston; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Louis Amiot, Brainerd, Minnesota, Patrick Amiot, Crookston, and Ralph St. Michel, Walla Walla, Washington; sisters Henriette Audette, Crookston, and Dorothy (Mrs. Joe) Juhl, Mentor, Minnesota, sister-in-law, Mary Amiot, Crookston; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Darin; brother Thomas; sisters, Agnes and Lucille.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today with a 7:30 prayer service, and the hour before services, all in the church.
