per a findagrave member:

John Wesley Enoch was born 07 Jan 1838 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. On 05 Sep 1860 in McLean County, John married Ann Elisabeth Hays (born 18 Feb 1841 in Pleasant Hill, Pike County, Illinois to Henry S. Hays [1810-1860] and Sarah B. Smith [1814-1848]).
John and Ann had two children, Edward and Ella.
Their first child, Edward Enoch, was born 09 Mar 1862 in Chenoa, McLean County, and died the same day.
Ann was about two months pregnant with her second child when John joined the Union cause in the Civil War on 12 Aug 1862. Eight days later he began serving in Company C, 94th Illinois Infantry. On 09 Feb 1863, John and Ann's daughter, Ella Wesley Enoch, was born. It's likely her father never saw her. On 01 Sep 1863, John died at age 25 years 7 months and 24 days while serving at Carrollton, Louisiana. His daughter Ella died one year later, on 02 Sep 1864, age 1 year 6 months and 24 days.
