RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- Services for Mannsville native the Rev. Judge B. Lindsey, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Russellville, Ark. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Lindsey was born Sept. 17, 1912, in Mannsville to Elbert S. and Maggie Holder Lindsey. He died Oct. 7, 2000, in Russellville.

He married Lila Faye Burk on July 1, 1931, and was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God Churches for 70 years pastoring churches in Russellville, California and Oklahoma before he retired in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Judge C., Greenfield, Calif.; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Indian College c/o First Assembly of God Church, 124 East G. St., Russellville, AR 72801.
