He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 30 years. He served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict. Hock was a member of all the local VFW's and American Legions. He was a leader for the Chantilly and A.K. Country bands, was a collector of guns and had a great sense of humor. He was well loved by family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters; Barbara (Gary) Baughman, Linda (Edward) Harmony and Candace Polk; grandchildren, Laurie Etter, Missy Richardson, Any Vance, Tammy Harmony, Tina Stumbaugh; three brothers, Ray, Gene & Fred Hockenberry; a sister, Leora Shrader; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hockenberry (2012); a son, Rick Glunt (1983) and a grandson, Gary (2010).
