Eldon Tully Anson
Birth: Nov. 15, 1931
Huntington County
Indiana, USA
Death: Feb. 7, 1989
Fort Wayne
Allen County
Indiana, USA

Murder victim. The murder of Eldon Anson was the most horrific murder Huntington County, Indiana had ever seen. On February 3, 1989, Huntington North High School honor student, Jarrod Wall and friend Erick Esch went to Eldon's house and claimed they wanted to buy a car from him. When Eldon had his back turned, Jarrod shot him 6 times with a .22 caliber pistol. When he realized Eldon was still alive, he bludgeoned him with an axe. Eldon died in the hospital a few days later. It was a senseless crime, as neither boy knew Eldon, and Jarrod believed with no evidence that Eldon could have been the person to turn his uncle into a homosexual and give him the AIDS virus.

Eldon was divorced and had three daughters.

In 2002, a book was written about the murder entitled "Fear No Evil."
