He was born June 2, 1938, in Bedford County, to the late Charlie Lewis Christmon and Annie Lucille Williams Christmon. A graduate of Bedford County Training school, he was retired from Stanley Tool Company, and loved to play golf and go bowling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Rodgers.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lucy Jones Christmon; two daughters, Chevonne Christman and Barbara Landers Burton; brothers and sisters, Hattie Holman, Charlie Lewis (Delores) Christmon, Jr., Walter Edward (Virginia) Christmon, Dorothy (Henry) Wright, and Shirley (James) Owens; sisters in law, Laura Marsh and Mary Frances Henderson; brothers in law, Wilbert Jones and Mack Rippy; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
