Son of Moses & Jane (McFarland) Robinson.
Married Susanna Payson January 05, 1786.
Served during the Revolutionary War first enlisting as a sergeant on August 25, 1775 and serving 4 months in a company raised in St. George, Waldoboro, and Camden and stationed there for defense of the seacoast. He enlisted again on March 5, 1776 as a sergeant in Capt. Benjamin Plummer's company and served for 9 months at St. George also in defense of the seacoast. In 1778 he was listed as a 2nd lieutenant in Capt. Isaac Wiley's 5th company of Col. Wheaton's 4th Lincoln County regiment of Massachusetts militia.
