Was Hung on Jan 14th 1864 for the Crime of Arson and for being a Confederate Sympathizer during the Civil War
He was Hung on the same day as his 4 Partners in the Crime
George Lane AKA Club Foot Lane
They were Hung for trying to Burn Down Virginia City MT. in Dec. of 1863. They were Burried in the local cemetery but there location is now lost as their wooden Head Stones were Removed in the 1930s to be placed in a Local Museum Which its Self was distroyed by fire.....A fitting End to an Arsonists Grave Marker.

He was my 3rd greatgranduncle. His given name was "Levi Boone Helm" His correct date of birth was January 28, 1827 He was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky. His parents were Joseph and Nancy Wilcox Helm. He was hung by a lynch mob in Virginia City, Montana he is buried at Boothill Cemetery outside of Virginia City, Madison County, MT.
