Beeza went by "Beeza" rather than "Bridget Alice" as she believed the latter sounded like an old maid's name. Beeza knew much about her family and always told stories to her granddaughter, Mary Alice. Beeza often made trips to the Wisconsin Historical Society, and she also enjoyed visiting and maintaining the graves of her family at Resurrection.
When Beeza married Mathew Diebold, Father H. V. Winter gave her a table that he had brought with him from Germany. He arrived at the port of New Orleans and traveled up the Mississippi before settling in Wisconsin. He also wrote a pamphlet about the journey; however, it is in a local German dialect that has proven difficult to translate over the years.
Beeza is a cousin to Bishop Vincent Ryan who oversaw the Diocese of Bismarck in North Dakota.
