Andrew County Enterprise
April 5, 1906
Obituary
R. H. Talbot was born in Chester county, Penn., in 1827 where he grew to manhood and was married to Elizabeth Evans in 1850, soon after they moved to Rochester, Minn., where they were among the pioneers, settling among the Indians. About the close of the war they came to Andrew county where they have resided several years, removing
to Baxter, Kans., on account of his wife's health. After her death he made his home with his children and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. W. Craig.
He was always a good upright, conscientious man whose word was as good as his bond. The last few years of his life were clouded by a stroke of paralysis and he was never the same as before but thru it all he never lost his faith in God.
