Son of Alonzo Augustus & Rachel Ballinger Harvey. Note: Alonzo & Rachel were married July 7th 1844. Isaac is listed on the 1850 Census living with Alonzo & Rachel as Newton Mead in York Twp, Union County, Ohio. Married Elizabeth Smith April 11th 1863 in Union County, Ohio. Served in the Civil War with the 13th Ohio Battery Light Artillery. Fought at the Battle of Shiloh.

BELLE CENTER
Mr. Newton Harvey, of McDonald township, died last Friday morning, aged 58 years, and was placed in a very fine casket and interred Sabbath. McLain and Robinson undertakers.
