Mrs. William (Alice) Harvey died at the family home in Rushsylvania Tuesday night at 11 o'clock, of bronchial pneumonia, after an illness of only Ten days. She was 54 years old and was born and spent the greater part of her life In Union county, moving to Rushsylvania some 12 or 14 years ago. Although her residence there Had been of a comparative short time she was greatly beloved by all and was a tireless worker in the Methodist church, while holding; membership in a United Brethren church in Union county, of which church she became a member in her young girlhood.

In all things she was faithful and true, the light of the home, where she will be greatly missed.

She was born May 1, 1864 to J.L. and Malinda Curl. On Sept. 21, 1899 the widow Alice Barnett married William Nation Harvey in Kenton.

Beside the husband two daughters, Carrie and Rachel, in the home, remain. One step-son. Howard Harvey, of Chicago, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Galintine, of West Mansfield; a sister. Mrs. E. E. Cook, of North Lewisburg. and a brother, E. O. Curl, of West Mansfield, remain.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Rushsylvania on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Mr. Baumgardner. Burial in the Rushsylvania cemetery. (Bellefontaine Examiner Et al.)

The whole Harvey household was sickened in the Influenza pandemic of 1918. Being so sick they were unable to feed themselves, the neighboring Hassell family broke the quarantine and brought food and water in through the windows. By the time Alice passed, the rest of the Harvey household had recovered enough to attend her funeral, except Carrie, who was so sick they expected to be gone by the time they returned, but miraculously she recovered as well.
