Goldie Helen Walker, 70, passed away June 1, 2014, in a Mineral Wells hospital.
Service is 10 a.m. Thursday, June 5, in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
She was born April 26, 1944, in Fort Worth the daughter of James William and Jesse Jewel Helton Reddell. She married Jay Walker in December 1977 in Weatherford. He preceded her in death in November 2013. She had lived in Mineral Wells since 1995 and in Weatherford prior to that.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Dykeman, of Mineral Wells, Karen and Earl Morgan, of Mineral Wells, Lennie and Tonie Taylor, of Weatherford, and May and Doug Royer, of Mineral Wells; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, J.W. Reddell, of Mineral Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, John Edward and Scotty Wayne Ashby; sister, Jessie Roden; and brothers, Coy and Jackie Reddell.
