Kay L. Anderson, 64, our most loved husband, father, and grandpa, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on July 1, 2002. He died of cancer.

He was born to William LeRoy Anderson and Pearl McArthur on May 21, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He married his cherished companion, Julene Marie Campbell, on November 28, 1958 with their sealing taking place in the Salt Lake Temple. His life was filled with love and service for his family, friends, and church.

The gospel of Jesus Christ was foremost in his life. He loved serving in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including a member of the Bountiful Twenty-Ninth Ward Bishopric, a stake missionary, temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple, and the last eleven years as ward financial clerk. His greatest desire was for his family to love the Lord.

He loved and enjoyed spending time with thirteen grandchildren. They enjoyed going golfing, visiting Jackson Hole, fishing, family vacations, skiing, playing, Christmas eve, family traditions, and getting together for family home evenings.

He earned his accounting degree from the University of Utah and practiced as a CPA for thirty-eight years, the past fifteen in his own firm, Anderson, Petersen & Co. P.C. He was liked and well respected by all of his friends and associates. He served as a member of the board of directors of the YMCA for many years and enjoyed serving all of his clients.

He was an avid University of Utah fan and long time season ticker holder. He loved taking his family and grandchildren to the University of Utah football and basketball games. He will be missed by all, but he will be waiting for us with a loving smile and open arms.

He is survived by his loving wife; one son, Jeff (Saundra) Anderson; three daughters, Shery Anderson, Lori (Ron) Beckstrand; Jill (Robert) Talbot; three sisters, VeLoy Jamison, Jean Kirkham, and Deon Crofts; one brothers, Daryl Anderson; thirteen grandchildren: Lindsey, Justine, Talon, Shaelyn, Mikall, Logan, Chase, Tara, Ryan, Garen, Sadie, Trent, and Megan who will miss their Bomp.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bountiful Hills Ward Chapel, 1190 East Bountiful Hills Drive. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
