|Death: ||Aug. 1, 2010|
Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away peacefully at his home in Bountiful while surrounded by his loving, lucky family.
Wayne was born in his family home in Bountiful, UT to William Floyd and Sylvia Pace Argyle.
He married the love of his life, Joanne Brey, on March 12, 1960. They recently celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. They raised four beautiful children together.
For many years, he worked for Foss Lewis and Sons as an excavator. He worked for a short time with his step-father as a tile setter and later owned his own excavating company, Padro Excavating. Wayne was well known as being one of the best cat operators and dearly loved his work.
Wayne was one of the first members of the Bountiful Jeep Posse when it was organized. He had many memorable stories of his days in the Jeep Posse and made many life-long friends. Wayne and Joanne have a home at Bear Lake, which he dearly loved spending time with family and friends. Many will remember him in his riding lawnmower or 4-wheeler.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Joanne; children, Scott (Angie), Ridgeland, MS, Jana Baggett, Centerville, and Jeff (Karen), Centerville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; also survived by siblings, Alta Hart (Steve), Leo (Marline) and Lucille Parker (Jay-deceased) all of Bountiful. Preceded in death by a son, Kevin (what a great reunion they must be having).
He will be greatly missed by many; but oh. . . . the memories and stories we have!!
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, where friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to the services.
