Jeffrey Joe Gowdy age forty years, of Las Vegas Nevada, sadly passed away in Emery City, Utah. He was the youngest son of Marlene Gowdy and Larry Gowdy.
He left behind older brother, Michael Joe Gowdy, a daughter, Christie Dawn Gowdy and son, Jeffrey Joe Gowdy Jr, both of Las Vegas Nevada.
Jeff was a funny kind of guy, not always responsible, always trying something different. He didn't think to hard about the impossible, he just did it his way, right or wrong, his way. Jeff was totally nothing like his older brother Mike. Mike was always there to make it right or put him straight.
His Mother , Marlene Mitchell Gowdy passed away just a few days before Jeff's passing. Jeff wasn't a strong willed man, he depended upon his Mom and brother Mike for help and guidance for much of his life.
Jeff loved his Mother & children Christie & Jeff Jr, with all his heart & soul. Now he is beside his Mother, on earth and in heaven for always.
His brother Michael was left with a hard task to lay to rest his dear Mother, Marlene and only sibling Jeff. It took an inner strength for Mike to lose his Mother and then his brother, all within a few short days apart. I can only imagine his pain and heartache happening so unexpectedly. Mike's a very brave and strong man, this I know personally.
Jeffreys children are older now, but left with great guidance in life, their Uncle Mike. I pray they have listened to him, and they all lean on each other now.

Update: I have recently found out that Michael Joe Gowdy passed away on December 19th 2013, rest in peace Mike. I also found out that Jeff Sr's son, Jeffrey Jr, grew up to be a man, yet passed away.
