Jessica Leigh Armstrong, a resident of Republic, WA passed away on Aug. 29, 2009. Jessica was born on May 15, 1988 in Stanford, CA the daughter of Jeffrey David and Jeannie Ellen (Ruck) Armstrong.
As an infant, Jessica moved with her mom and brother to Curlew. Jessica was raised in Curlew and was a twelve year senior from Curlew High School in 2006. Jessica enjoyed playing volleyball while she was in junior high and then turned her attention to track while in high school. Two weeks after her high school graduation, Jessica moved to Spokane. While in Spokane, she attained her Certified Nursing Assistant credential. She then worked at a nursing home in Spokane before returning to Colville. Jessica worked at both Buena Vista Nursing Home and Parkview Assisted Living. She had a special place in her heart for those suffering from Alzheimer's. She had recently moved to Republic where she was enjoying spending time with long-time friends.
Jessica described herself as someone who wanted to be loved as much as she loved. She was the one to bring family together, mediate any differences and support her friends through thick and thin. Jessica shared a wonderful connection for the lost, abandoned and mistreated animals. She often volunteered her time at local animal shelters to assist the animals in need. She has always been the social butterfly who loved to interact with people and share life experiences. Jessica had a great sense of life and she lived life to its fullest. She shared her energy and inspired life within others with her wonderful sense of humor and loving nature.
She is survived by her mother, father, brother and many other family members.
