Emma J. Bradley went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 16, 2009.
She was born in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Michael and Bertha (Tartel) Saloney. She was a lifelong resident of Lilly, where she met and married Floyd D. Bradley, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Anthony (Audrey) of Hollidaysburg and Robert (Regina) of Tabernacle, N.J.; two daughters: Elaine (Michael) Cicotello of Ebensburg and Mary Rose (Robert) Kulick of Matawan, N.J.; 10 grandchildren: Antionette (Dan) Kroko, Heather (Scott) Bradley-Mueller, Tim, Chris (Alice), Tom (Samantha) Cicotello, Ann-Michelle (Mike) Householder, Stacey (Phil) Simone, Jennifer (Matt) Kurzawa, Rebecca (John) Butler and Gregg Kulick; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of a family of nine siblings: Michael, Emil, J. Frances, William, Joseph, Bertha "Beba," Mary Creda "Sheba," Helen Marie "Patty," and Creda Mary. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Robert II.
Emma attended Mount Aloysius Academy for Girls but graduated from Lilly High School. She was a homemaker and devoted to her Catholic faith and was affectionately known to her entire family as "Mom-Mom."
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, 531 Main St., Lilly, where a vigil for the deceased will be held Tuesday evening.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of The Alleghenies Catholic Church, Lilly, with the Most Rev. Bishop Joseph V. Adamec, principal celebrant, and the Rev. Msgr. John R. Sasway, VF pastor concelebrant. Committal at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her name to the Carmelite Sisters of Loretto or to Garvey Manor, where she resided and was lovingly cared for over the past three years.
