Mary E. Clark, 94, formerly of Columbia

Mary E. Clark, 94, of 118 Breezy Point Lane, Fox Lake, Ill., formely of Columbia, died Friday afternoon at the the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Fox Lake, after a lengthy illness.

She was the wife of the late Norman Clark who died in 1939.

Born in East Donegal Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Goodling Smith.

She lived in Chicago, Ill., for the last 30 years. While in Columbia, she worked at the former Second Street Silk Mill.

She was a member of Columbia Methodist Churches United.

Surviving are a daughter, Bertha, wife of Harold Heisey Sr., with whom she resided; a son, Roy Clark, Conestoga; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Eshelman, Marietta R1.

CLARK - Entered into rest in Fox Lake, Ill., on January 10, 1992, MARY E. CLARK, widow of Norman Clark, of 118 Breezy Point Lane, Fox Lake, Ill., and formerly of Columbia, in her 95th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, Wednesday at 10 A.M. with the Rev. Richard E. Grant officiating. The interment in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until the time of service.
