Of the Town of Rome, passed away at his residence. Wayne was born to the late Walter and Florence (Meyer) Guenther. He married Mae Ronkowski on January 9, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee. Wayne worked for Line Material before moving on to work as a warehouse distributor for the Oak Creek School District. Wayne's passion in life was model railroading and he was a member of the Tri-City Railroad Club that meets at Harry's House. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by his beloved dog Tiffany. He is survived by his wife Mae, children Christine (Gary) Gevers of Nekoosa and Richard (Linda) Guenther of Oak Creek; grandchild Shad (Mary) Gevers of Fort Atkinson and great-grandchildren Devin and Tyler Gevers. Wayne is further survived by his brother-in-law Jay Harvanek and sister-in-law Terri Ottelien. Wayne is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Guenther and sister Phyllis Steidl. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wisconsin Sheltie Rescue, N4535 Hwy. 55, Chilton, WI 53014.
