Charles F. Terwillinger passed away yesterday at the Soldiers' Home at the age of 77 years. He was born in Holland, Mich., and enlisted in Company A, Fourteenth Michigan infantry, December 3, 1861, discharged December 3, 1863, and re-enlisted December 3, 1863, Company B (sic), First Michigan marine brigade and was discharged January 17, 1865. The length of his service was thirty-eight months. He was admitted to the Soldiers' Home at this place from Kearney, December 5, 1890. He leaves to mourn his loss one daughter, Mrs. Maud Raphael, and several stepchildren. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the Home chapel, Rev. Groom, of the Christian church, to have charge. Interment will be made in the Home cemetery.
