Heather was a loving daughter, sister, mother of Scooby the Pug, Shelby the hound dog, and friend to many people. Her life was wrought with many medical problems from an early age which she fought with bravery and courage. Heather was a great supporter of our military members and veteran's. One time, her parents noticed a considerable charge posted on their credit card from Walmart. In looking into this, they found that Heather had purchased cases of socks. When confronted with the issue, Heather said that she read an article wherein the soldiers fighting in Desert Storm were having a hard time keeping socks as the sand was eating through them in a matter of days. So, she bought all these socks and had them sipped overseas. She loved traveling and keeping her father in line. She always looked forward to shopping with her mother and making the Jello shots for Bill Ferry's annual clambake. She is missed by many people. It is a tragedy that Jaxon Samuel VanLeuven never got to meet and enjoy his Aunt Heather. Her father always said that if Heather was alive, we would someday see a Toys R Us trailer backed up to Jaxon's door with a load of toys, all on her mother and fathers credit card.
