Actor, Director. He was a veteran character actor of stage, film, and television, and film and television director. Born in Los Angeles, California, he began his acting career at age 10. Between 1950 and 1998, he appeared in over 115 films. His films include: "Last Dance" (1950), "Made In Paris" (1966), "The Sand Pebbles" (1966), "Marooned" (1969), "Red Sky At Morning" (1971), "Honky Tonk" (1974), "Stone Cold Dead" (1979), "Death Ship" (1980), "Body Heat" (1981), "First Blood" (1982), Rambo: First Blood II" (1985), "Rambo III" (1988), "Hot Shots! Part Deux" (1993), "Sabrina" (1995), and "Guts And Glory" (2002). Among his television roles are: "Judging Amy" "JAG" "Chicago Hope" "I Love Lucy" and "Cheyenne." Crenna is best known for his role as 'Luke McCoy' in "The Real McCoys" (1957 to 1963), and 'Walter Denton' in "Our Miss Brooks" (1952 to 1956). Crenna has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located at 6714 Hollywood Blvd. for his contributions to motion pictures.
