George Alfonso Arellano, age 69, and a resident of Albuquerque, was born in Springer, NM. February 14, 1937. He was called home by our Lord Tuesday, August 15, 2006 on the Feast of Our Lady's Assumption. Alfonso was preceded in death by his father, Manuelito Arellano; his mother, Anna Arellano; his brother, Manuelito; and his sister, Mercedes. He is survived by the love of his life, Cathy Arellano; his sons, Steve and wife, Carol, Jamie and wife, Juanita, Robyn and wife, Lori, Jose and wife, Monica and Randy; one daughter, Debbie; ten grandchildren and one grandchild due in September; one great-grandchild; sister, Retta and husband, Richard; brothers, Michael and Josie, Charles and Jean; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins from Springer, Denver, and Albuquerque who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Springer, NM on Saturday, August 19, 2006. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Springer Cemetery. A family gathering will then take place at the home of Chris Arellano in Springer. WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH AND YOU WILL BE MISSED DEARLY.
