OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Tuesday, 29 November 1977:

Mrs. Ina Dale Evans, 47, of Little Rock, Ark., died Monday at 4:45 p.m. following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Hassell & Foster Chapel with the Rev. M. T. Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Elkhart.

Pall bearers will be Ronny Bridges, Larry Bridges, Eddie Bridges, Pat Blackmon, Tom Hamby and Alton Morehead.

Mrs. Evans was born in Elkhart on Jan. 6, 1930 to the late Harry Gammage and Mrs. Ordell (sic) Luce Gammage Head. She had resided in Little Rock for the past six years and was a beautician and a member of the Baptist Church.

Her father, Harry Gammage, preceded her in death in 1958.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Ford of Little Rock; a stepson, Danny Ford, with the Air Force in Greece; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Verbon Head of Elkhart; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Billie) Bridges of Elkhart; three nephews, Ronnie, Larry and Eddie Bridges, all of Elkhart; a niece, Pamela Blackmon of Elkhart and several aunts and uncles.
