With a great love for flying, Casey died doing what he loved flying airplanes.
Born in Sherman, Texas to Mike and Laura Streetman, Casey lived for 8 years in Gainesville, Texas. At the age of 8 Casey and his family moved to College Station, Texas, where he attended school. After graduating from high school, Casey began his passionate pursuit of flying at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. He had completed his solo ride, and was well on his way to becoming a certified commercial pilot.
We will definitely remember Casey's captivating personality, happy smile, and his great love for life. You could always count on Casey for a good, firm handshake or a great big hug. Casey had a magical way with kids as they gravitated to him; he just loved kids. Casey showed great love and affection for his friends and his family. He always had a way of adding happiness and excitement to those around him. Kindness, compassion and tenderness were natural for Casey, and he was always filled with joy. This vivacious young man, never knowing a stranger, influenced so many lives.
Having been a hunter since childhood, Casey was always planning his next trip. Hunting was such a special time to be with his father, Mike, grandfather, DJ, cousins, Colby and Cody, brother-in-law, Robert (Rooter) Wareing, and all of his other hunting buddies. As much as he loved hunting and the outdoors, his love for family was even greater. Family time was a very high priority with Casey. He always enjoyed surprising his mother, Laura, with flowers and special gifts. His love for his sisters Ginny and Carrie was obvious; he was always there for them with a helping hand or a kind word. Whenever Casey came home from college, it was a big priority to visit his niece and nephew, Mackenzie and Garrett, but only after seeing his girlfriend Christine Beach. Christine was so special to Casey and a wonderful influence on his life. He cherished his time with her. When faced with disputes or problems, Casey always debated his position tenaciously. In the end, he graciously accepted the outcome. A dispute with his Mom or Dad never failed to end with a warm hug and I love you. A mom and dad could never hope for a more loving son. We thank God for His blessing of 19 wonderful years with Casey.
Casey is survived by his parents, Laura Streetman of Bryan, Mike and Melissa Streetman of San Antonio, sister and brother-in-law, Ginny and Robert Wareing, and sister, Carrie Streetman of College Station, grandparents, Jay and JoAnn Streetman of Denton, Fred and Betty Thompson of Rockwall, aunts and uncles, Phillis Hager of Dallas, Debbie and Jim Pool of Denton, Fred and Linda Thompson of Rockwall, Susan Thompson Norman of Austin, Linda McCarty of Las Vegas; niece and nephew, McKenzie and Garrett Wareing; cousins, Colby and Kelly Hager of Dallas, Cody and Allie Pool of Denton, Nathan and Meggan Kring of Virginia, Katie Kring of Las Vegas, Travis, Carolina and Jonathan Norman of Austin, Amy, Kelly and Matthew Thompson of Rockwall.
