Hazel Alvey Summers, 76, died on March 28, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard B. and Mary G. Alvey; and five siblings, Irene, Johnny, Helen, Bobby and Bessie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Thomas Summers; one daughter, Kimberly Summers Dalton (Stuart); two grandchildren, Taylor Dalton, Tommy Dalton; and siblings, Jimmy, Lee, Wayne, Larry and Linda.
Hazel was strong and loving and lived for her grandchildren. She enjoyed going on cruises, shopping and wine tastings.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, with a funeral ceremony to follow at 12 p.m., at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd.
Interment Dale Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
