Fred L. Hahn, 94, of 804 W. Fourth St., died Sunday, May 16, 1999, at Community Health Resources. Services will be Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church. The Rev. Hall Green will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Hahn was born on May 30, 1904, in Muscatine, the son of Henry B. and Matilda Maurer Hahn. He married Louise Blass on June 14, 1930, in Muscatine. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church; the Iowa Lodge No. 2 AF & AM; the Davenport Consistory; Kaaba Temple Shrine and the DeMolay Commandery No. 1. He was founder of Hahn Brothers, Hahn Brothers Sand and Gravel, and Hahn Brothers Investment Company.
Survivors include two sons, George B. Hahn and his wife, Pat, of Muscatine and James F. Hahn of Muscatine; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bernard Hahn, and his wife, Bernice, both of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Louise, in 1988, three brothers and three sisters.
