Galesburg — Mrs. Wilma Stroops, 45, of 236 S. Academy died at her home at 2:30 a.m. yesterday.
The former Wilma Madelyne Kane was born Aug. 27, 1922, at Decatur. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Chicago and the Galesburg School of Beauty Culture.
She married Charles Stroops, Nov. 4, 1956, at Peoria. He survives, with her mother, Mrs. Violet Anderson of Sullivan; three brothers, Richard, Robert and Jack Kane of Galesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Hyatt of Chicago and Miss Emma Lee Anderson of St. Louis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Kimber and West Chapel. Visitation will be this evening. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
