Kimberly Ann "Kim" Anglen
Birth: Jul. 7, 1969
Death: Aug. 1, 1986

My cousin.

Daughter of Charles and Laura (West) Anglen, sister to Robert and Richard.

Cause of death: Killed by a drunk driver when she was 17 years old.

I have to clarify with my Aunt Laura, but I believe the driver's punishment was having to pay a fine of $1.00 a month for quite a long time and also having to carry a picture of Kim in his wallet as a reminder of what he'd done.

Kim's Dad, my Uncle Charlie, passed on February 17, 2006, missing her until the end. On Saturday, July 29, 2006, the remaining half of Uncle Charlie's ashes were buried with Kim.

My heartfelt thanks to Ed Leffew for sponsoring my Cousin's memorial. I believe there are angels among us and that Ed is one of them. God bless you, Ed!

What a terrible tragedy for your family. I lost a gifted student to a drunk driver, and I know the family will miss her forever...yours too, I'm sure. I'm praying for you.

I remember you, Kimberly. I remember we used to play games when our families would visit. You are forever young!

How I would love to have you for a big sister who I could look up to and love like my very own. Rest well, beautiful beloved child. You are forever safe in God's loving arms.
