Joseph (Radzville) Razwilavich, 95, of Plains Township, died Monday at Quality Care Nursing Center, North Port, Fla. Born in Lithuania, he was a son of the late Ignatius and Marcella (Zelonis) Razwilavich. He was a coal miner, working in the area mines, retiring in 1973. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pittston. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Birosak; son, Joseph, Jr.; daughter, Dorothy Razwilavich; brother, Frank; and sister, Marcella Kashuba. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Exeter. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Joseph Razwilavich was born Joseph Radzville or possibly Radziwill. He did not like the name Radzville so he changed it to Razwilavich.
