Ahrendts at the Methodist Church on Monday. Her daughter, Mrs. Mable Alexander of Superior came Friday to be at her bedside during her last illness."

Death of Samantha Jane Benjamin
Mrs. Samantha Jane Benjamin of Hubbell, Nebr., passed away at her home there, Saturday, August 31, 1940 at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 12 days.
She was born in Ontario, Canada on June 19, 1847 and married Joseph E. Benjamin who preceded her in death. She had lived in the Hubbell vicinity many years.
Funeral services were held at the Hubbell Methodist church Monday afternoon with Rev. Ahrends officiating. Burial in the Hubbell cemetery.
