John Elmer Alexander was born at Nelson, Nebraska on January 6, 1906, and passed away November 3, 1963 at the Memorial Hospital in New York City at the age of 57 years.
He was united in marriage to Mildred Hoover on November 30, 1936 in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Alexander was a building contractor in Denver for many years. He retired two years ago and moved to Winter Haven, Florida where he was associated with his brothers Frank and L. Bruce in the citrus fruit business.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Denver Home Builders Association, the Denver Press Club and the Masonic Lodge.
He leaves to mourn his death: his wife, Mildred; one daughter, Mrs. Don White of Lakewood, Colorado; and two grandsons. Also, three sisters: Mrs. Belle Karraker of Vernango, Nebraska; Miss Mildred Alexander of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Mrs. Velair Miller of Glendale, California; and two brothers: Frank of Winter Haven, Flordia and L. Bruce of San Marino, California.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 6 at the Chapel of the Angels in Denver Colorado. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery at Denver.
