Mr. Brogan, 79 of Rochester, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.
Eddie was born October 2, 1930, in Chatfield to William and Dora (Pettey) Brogan. He was raised in Chatfield and farmed there until moving to Rochester in 1957. He worked in radiology at the Mayo Clinic, retiring in 1993. His wife, LaVonne, was a seamstress for the Mayo Clinic. The couple married on January 15, 1954.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie (Pete) McIntire of Rochester; and his son, Bill Brogan, also of Rochester. His brother, Bernard Brogan of St. Charles, also survives. He was preceded in death by his wife on November 7, 2008; and a brother, Joe.
Eddie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He enjoyed NASCAR #3, snowmobiling, and trips to Las Vegas. He also enjoyed having dinner at Michaels with his family, and walking his dog, Eddy, at Quarry Hill Park.
