Bluford is my g2-grandfather.

He is the son of Hardy YEWELL/EWELL (ca 1803 NC - 1875 IL) and Elizabeth ESTES (ca 1808 IL - 1869 IL).

Bluford and Livona had at least six children.

My grandmother, Ruby (STEWART) WALKER, frequently told me, "My Grandfather Ewell (spelled with a 'u') was a full-blooded Irishman". However, research has revealed that only one of the children of Bluford EWELL and Livona TRAVELSTEAD used the "u" spelling. We're also trying to prove his being a "full-blooded Irishman".

Grandma always told me that Livona's husband died in Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri; but I have been unable to prove or disprove that. Bluford is believed to have died 1894-1898.
