Funeral services for Georgia Opal Davenport were held this morning at the Morris Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. with Gerald Beasley officiating. Vocalists were Patty King, Ann Wilson, Clara Flock and Elizabeth Sears. Pallbearers were Pete Davis, Bruce Fortner, Carl Askins, Willis Topper, Lloyd Hankins and Clarence Hellig. Interment was in Union Cemetery.

Born September 27, 1911, at Monett, MO., the daughter of Fletcher Alan & Linnie Landreth, she came to Winfield in 1926 from Nebraska. Married to Theodore Davenport in 1932, she was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are her widower; two daughters, Mrs. Rosalee Head, Winfield; Mrs. Viola Stone, Wichita; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rose Farnsworth, Winfield; and one brother, John Bateman, Derby.
