Theodore Foust, 91 of Lake City, passed away Aug. 25 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born July 14, 1918 in Anderson County to the late Carson and Katie Burton Foust. Theodore was a member of the Willowbrook Baptist Church. He was a retired Army Veteran of World War II. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and spending time with family and friends especially his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Foust; brothers, Hollis, Edgar, Pollie and Earl Foust; sisters, Beulah Farmer, Willie Carden, Helen Wilson and Gladys Cox and his son-in-law, Ricky Ferguson.
Theodore is survived by daughter, Beverly Ferguson of Lake City; brother, Pete Foust of Sweetwater; sister, Betty Chetham of Kingston; grandchildren, Teddy Ferguson and Monica of Caryville, Tabitha Myers of Lake City; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Cicily and Emily Myers, Peyton Ferguson.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 29 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Leach officiating. Interment will follow in the Island Ford Cemetery with the military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
